FITNESS 'COOKING' BOOTCAMP

Food is the key to losing weight, fueling endurance, and, in many cases, healing common medical problems. This 4-hour seminar will discuss how small changes in your current diet can help you overcome plateus in your training, boost your metabolism, energize you throughout the day, and fuel your most challenging training session.  The program will include a cooking demo, tips for preparing and packaging food for successful weight loss, and recipes to help you maintain your personal daily calorie goal.  And YES, there will be tasting!

HEALTHY KIDS COOKING CLASS

Taught by trained chef and personal fitness trainer, John E., this 3-hour seminar for kids ages 9-15yrs incorporates healthy alternatives to fast food and creative ideas to expand your weekly menu.  Participants will explore new foods and wholesome cooking in this complimentary class sponsored by the Healthy Apple Valley program.
